THIS PLACE IS FABULOUS. I have no words to describe how amazing this place is. We just happened to stop in while on vacation, and we were not disappointed. The Affogato is the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. The staff was sooo friendly and had so many great recommendations. Definitely stop by if you are in the area!

I really wanted a cinnamon roll but I got more than I ever expected, let me explain. First when I walked in I was welcomed by some lovely ladies. I asked for a cinnamon roll and this women walked over and started talking to me ( the owner), when I found out she was the owner I was over the moon that she would take time out of a busy morning to chat it up with me. Second I went in for one thing and walked out with haul of deliciousness. I bought chocolate eclairs and chocolate croissants ( both my husband favorites). For me cheese danish ( incredible) light flaky crust with a delicious cheese filling and let’s not forget about that cinnamon roll. I’m a little picky if you’re eating your calories it better be worth it! And it was!!!. Third by the time we got home to Foley we had already snacked on some of these goodies and decided we needed more. I called and Robin answered,knew who I was and told me she would call me back when everything was ready and she did , back to Fairhope I went !! Let me tell you these ladies were all awesome , polite, pleasant , above and beyond even offered me some samples . I found a new place , well worth the drive for me ( even though it’s not that’s far). I would highly recommend you stop by for a sweet treat and awesome customer service! See ya ladies in a few!!!

Tried this place right after sushi dinner. The chocolate itself was excellent. I tried just two pieces (the Orange Cream and the Raspberry Cream) and they were both delicious, with rich flavor and a smooth, creamy filling. For two chocolate candies (picture attached), the total came to $5.37, which I found a bit expensive, but I expected a premium experience. What disappointed me was the customer service. I asked the employee to recommend something with a gooey or chewy center. He didn’t seem to know the products well enough to make a recommendation. After I suggested that the Orange Cream and Raspberry Cream sounded like they might have a soft filling, he replied, “I have a vague memory of the orange one, but I never tried the other one, so I don’t know exactly which ones would be good inside. You just need to try them.” At a specialty chocolate shop where the products are premium-priced, I would expect the staff to be familiar with what they’re selling and able to guide customers. Instead of feeling excited to explore more flavors, I ended up buying just the two pieces I had guessed might work and then left. The chocolates were wonderful, but better product knowledge from the staff would have made the experience much more enjoyable. Their credit card machine didn’t work either. Very little interest to go back. This is the second time I was disappointed (first time I purchased stale pastry and very overpriced chocolates based on another wrong employee recommendation- they were so hard I almost broke my tooth).

WOW! So glad I stopped here while in Fairhope! Robin was incredibly friendly and knowledgable about the chocolates and gelato. I sampled the Sour Cherry gelato which was out of this world and creamy. If you love cherries, you'll have to try it. I also got some in-house made chocolates that look fantastic and I can't wait to try them. The bakery is decorated nicely with unique, fun furniture.

*Update: I made the return trip and the gelato is fantastic: Madagascar vanilla bean, Italian chocolate, Sour cherry, and the Lemon are all wonderful flavors. The dark chocolate sea salt caramels are still the major highlights of this establishment! This was a very good find, and I'm very interested in a return trip to sample more of their products. My mom got the gelato, three flavors to make Neapolitan, and thought the strawberry and chocolate were the best. The strawberry was similar to a strawberry milkshake, and I thought it was a good strawberry flavor. The Italian chocolate was more towards the cocoa aspect rather than the sugar, which I thought was a nice change. One of the best items there are the dark chocolate sea salt caramel squares. The lady recommended them as the caramel is made by the place itself. She was not wrong!

Best cookie - snicker doodle. I soaked it in my hot coffee! The cookie had mild sweet taste, not so much sugar in. Delicious! Definitely will return soon!!

Wonderful bakery with beautiful cakes and pastries! Excellent customer service. The peanut butter cake is amazing!
